Delta Air Lines Adds Service between Binghamton and Detroit 2/25/2010

Delta Air Lines Adds Service between Binghamton and Detroit

Delta Air Lines will be adding a third daily round trip flight between the Greater Binghamton Airport (BGM) and Detroit Metro Airport (DTW). The expanded service will commence on April 6, 2010.   The new flights will be operated by Pinnacle Airline dba Delta Air Lines on Canadair fifty (50) seat regional jet aircraft.

The new flight will not only provide local travelers with more options to access the Detroit Metro Airport directly - it will also give passengers more opportunities to connect to many important domestic and international destinations. Through DTW, travelers can reach approximately 160 nonstop destinations including international destinations in Canada, Europe and Asia.

“We are delighted to be working with Delta to create new opportunities for travel and to expand our access to the extensive Delta Air Lines network,” said Carl R. Beardsley, Jr., Commissioner of Aviation. “Delta’s new flight schedule will give our travelers more options, especially for our business travelers needing access to the Motor City or overseas destinations.”
